Hello out there

Hi, my name is Martyn and I'm an altaholic.

I've been playing WoW since the late beta stages where I had an episode as an Orc Hunter.

Since launch I have mainly played on the Alliance side. All my characters belong to the same guild, the Shattered Ravens. Originally we were based on Argent Dawn but moved to Steamwheedle Cartel when it was opened due to the terrible queues at the time.

We only have two rules for eligibility:
1: You must be the real life friend of an existing member
2: Don't be a twat

I've played a lot of different characters over my time in WoW. Mostly I like to blame the other  half as she's doing an MBA at the moment. So, instead of sitting myself in front of the television and having my brains dribble out of my ears watching all the crap they put on these days, I play WoW instead. At least that's the best excuse I can come up with when pressed.

I'm currently staring down the barrel of my fifth level 70 character and wondering why I'm spending so much of my life on this game.

So, the obvious decision was to start blogging about it and spend even more time on the subject.

I'm new to the whole blogging thing so consider this a work in progress

Just carry on playing around - you'll be fine.

If a Mac user can understand it... :)

I'm right with you. I've leveled a mage, warrior, rogue, and priest to 70 so far. I have a 69 pally and working on a hunter who is currently level 30. I love playing the different classes and knowing what they can and can't do.
